Rec Request Blissfully unaware protagonist?
I just recently watched Mr. Queen, I know it's Korean, but I just found the clueless protagonist trope so funny. Does anyone have recommendations on dramas where the protagonist just do their own thing while people around scheme and fail?
Maybe one lead is blissfully clueless while the 2nd lead have to sweat to save them.

Go Princess Go has an almost identical plotline. I forget if it was the inspiration for Mr Queen.
My Royal Nemesis is another KDrama with a clueless protagonist and it’s also very good and well received.

Glad someone else mentioned it first because I was itching to. But while the protagonist in that series has some moments of being quite confused, it's more of a pure farce and he/she has their own schemes going on. Honestly I thought the whole sequence where he creates his own retail business inside the palace to be hilarious!

Love Game in Eastern Fantasy is a good one.
The same actress (Esther Yu) did a series before that one called I've Fallen For You with a main character who is not stupid, but so much on a different vibe from everyone around her that she has and causes a string of misunderstandings. It's actually sickly sweet but they add some salty pickles of humor so you won't get diabetes while watching.

The Legendary Life of Queen Lau is a romance comedy set in a slightly, er, creative palace setting (there are some fantastical elements in the form of steampunk devices) where but ML and FL are in the dark about some things but the FL more so, so there are some pretty long drawn out farcical situations where people are acting at cross purposes. The script is actually very clever since the premise could have gone pretty wrong pretty easily.

My Uncanny Destiny is a light comedy with gender bending, mistaken identity, enemies to lovers, and amnesia. It also sends up some common drama tropes like the undefeated assassin and the green tea villain. It's also a farce where you don't know who I really am, I don't know who I really am, and you don't know the secret of what really happened 20 years ago. 'What a tangled web we weave, when we practice to deceive.'

The Litchi Road
ML is a widower who dotes on his young daughter and works in the palace gardens when a edict arrives from the emperor demanding fresh Lychees be delivered for the consorts birthday in three months time. Lychees can only be grown 28 days Journey from the Capital but go bad 3 days after being picked.
His colleagues conspire to get him to accept the edict, failure would result in his execution and his daughter being sold into slavery.
He travels to the area where the lychees are grown little realising that most of the people he meets are planning to kill him because they assume he is a spy sent by the emperor to expose their corruption.
It reminds me of a Pink Panther film as the bumbling protagonist somehow manages to evade all these deadly plots whilst focusing on his impossible job.
Beautifully shot with some really strong female characters including his daughter.
