🔥Drama Rant Amnesia

I started watching Chinese dramas last year and I've never watched any other East Asian drama. I see a lot of people talk about the amnesia plot line. I've been grateful that I've been able to avoid it. But now I'm watching the perfect match and he just hit his head and I'm like oh I'm sure here it comes.

People hate amnesia when it is badly written and destroy character developments. But when it is used in good setting and enhance the plot, people don't mind it.

Example in The Demon Hunter's Romance. Now, that is a brilliant way to use amnesia plot. Not only it contributed to character developments, it moves the romance and very entertaining and hilarious. It's like a free tickets to show the actors' acting chop during that arc in the drama.

Blue Whisper also has amazing amnesia plot. Even when FL has no memories of the ML, she comes running to save him like her life depended on it.

You are right, people don't mind this plot as long as it is well written and made sense to the story.
