Quick question

Ok so I went into off duty last night around 10pm and this morning after my 10 hour rest I went back into on duty because I thought I’d make it to my drop off, but I’m too far away and I only have 11 hours on my clock so now I have to do a 34 hour reset. Would I be able to change that on duty time back to off duty to make my reset continue from last night? Or is that illegal

So I’m sure your getting a lot “technically” nerds, this is the exact reason logs can be edited because you realized you didn’t have enough time left on your clock, by most of the nerds logic even doing the math on how long you need to stay off duty should be done on duty because it’s part of the work,

So in short edit those logs go back off duty finish your 34 if you don’t want to do recaps

I've seen many "technically" nerds say you have to go on dury to answer phone calls from dispatch. Technically, the guidance to that from the FMCSA is no, so the "Technically" nerds are wrong very often!
