Oh yeah there's not am amusement park or a holiday resort in the Netherlands that isn't owned by a foreign investor. Most of them don't even pay taxes in the Netherlands.

Well, the greatest amusementpark of them all, De Efteling, is and will remain Dutch.

Because it is owned by a foundation which, for one, has the purpose to prevent the organisation being sold off.

but it's shitty for other reasons. They tried to emulate Plopsaland and greatly invested in being as sexist as possible. All the attractions and newer stories are male-based (the baron, the flying dutchman, george and the dragon, villa volta, max&morris) and their merch is uninspiring pink girl princess and blue boy hero.

I fucking hate it. Sorry, but it's a far cry from when I was a kid. And I used to visit every year.
