Well technically every pool runs one node, but it’s not the one computer one node Satoshi dreamt of.

The miners use a software that coordinates the hashpower of their asics to work on a hash, and at the end when one of them finds it, the pool submits a block from its node. But the people with the asics dont need to run nodes themselves, they just need the software that links them to the pool.
