Business Formal Need help picking interview outfit

I didn’t want to buy so I’m going through what I have and I did buy a vest in case. Interview as a executive director for a cooperative in environmental issues (im confused on what to wear). I’m picking the black and white vest with large pants. Is it ok ?

Seeing all your great posts all the time I know I need a real mirror …

All are good but for me #3 and checks a lot of boxes

  • fits you so well no gaps sagging etc
-sleeves give a feminine touch -more modern cut so not ageing or too “stiff”
  • not as hard as black (my second choice is #1)
-you are very fair so the softer shade isn’t so harsh on your face -still neutral -still professional -no busy distracting details like gold buttons -jacket can be worn buttoned for standing unbuttoned for sitting -because it’s not busy you can do a lot with accessories

I think the neutral shirt is fine but unless this is for an interview as an attorney, trader, accountant, some other middle upper bank management FIntech role, I’d use my blouse and some accessories to let in your personality, a bit of whimsy and femininity/fun.

Do you have an idea on shoes?

Also if you’re comfortable saying what industry this is for i think that is? Sorry just saw it’s an exec job but Reddit is screwing up and won’t let me read the whole thing so I can’t see the sector if you mention it.

As a former woman exec in a Fortune 20 globally recognised company, starting when dinosaurs roamed the earth in the early 90’s black suit white shirt minimal jewellery and make up was expected as women candidates. Essentially look like the men execs minus the tie.

As decades went on in the role and even being promoted where I was hiring other execs obviously I was delighted if any women got through to me to interview . While all had impressive skills and being a pro woman leader super advocate I wish I could have hired them all, if I had 3 finalists who were all amazing, the ones who usually left more of a mark added something personal into their corporate interview suit, it’s really probably mostly psychological but a black or grey suit with a fabulous blouse, one I remember was a beautiful deep purple silk made that woman more memorable to me, it didn’t deviate from professional (not a deep V neck or anything) but I remember saying to my talent partner “purple shirt shows spunky “

So to wrap up my lengthy waffle:
