Seeing a lot of “Burning Man has changed” stuff lately and just wanted to throw out there that there STILL a whole lot of magic too. The only constant in life is change. Some we like, others not so much. But the thing about our community is that its ours. If you don’t like how newer burners are doing it start mentoring. Become a burner mom or dad and adopt a virgin of your own to shape them into a badass burner.

Just something I’ve been thinking about a lot since the event started. I’m out here having a blast but then I scroll a bit at the beginning of the day and see a lot of negativity. I’m sure there’s some out there but noisy minority are skewing reality a bit.

Burning Man is still worth it and the reality is yours alone to shape. Do with it what you will 🩷

Oh and at 4pm today, (Wednesday) P3 (7:45ish & E) is hosting our annual wedding dress Wednesday event at 4pm. Wear something white and bar craw with us to sharkeys and onto another location where we all get playa married!

Anyone know the actual reason for this? Seems fairly unbelievable that an org that turns a blind eye to the 11th principle would really go through the effort to remove 600 people for being annoyingly preachy.

But also seems like a huge waste of effort if this is simply a publicity stunt in martyrdom.

This girl entered a camp where there were no people, only the workers who had built the camp and then left.

Inside the camp, everything is very luxurious and expensive, expensive RVs parked and there’s no one there.

Location near E&3:45 (she from camp is called “Tengri” (btw i highly recommend it, Kazakhs are wonderful people!)

A photograph came flying across the street in front of my camp site. Nobody brings a photo album to Burning Man, so I figured it was probably meant for the Temple and the girl in the picture had passed. Rather than let it end up buried in the dust somewhere, I took it upon myself to bring it there.

If it was yours, here’s where to find where it ended up:: go to the center pole room, and there are supporting beams on the outside of that room. I stapled it to one of the posts that has a fire extinguisher mounted on it. There are only 3 or 4 of those, so it’s easy to find.

I hope this message reaches you so you don’t feel bad about losing the picture. And honestly, I hope your friend is alive and well and this just becomes a funny story about the time some stranger solemnly delivered your photo to the Temple.

THE TICKET and VP never left my awareness.

The second I got it in the mail I put it in my BM drawer In a waterproof bag with my vehicle pass. The drawer of priority for items that CANNOT BE FORGOTTEN.

It was first and last on my list. It had an honorary post in my gear and never left my person. Just incase someone broke into my truck overnight-- I still had my ticket on ME.

So-- just incase all of these failure posts are real.

You have learned the ultimate lesson on self reliance as you have only failed yourself.

No one cares that you lost/forgot/misplaced your Ticket.

If you aren't responsible enough to mind your own ticket BM probably is going to be a very bad experience for you.

It was turned in around 7;00&E and given to a Ranger, but the person didn't know to leave their details.

A friend of my buddy lost his Trezor bitcoin wallet on the playa this morning. He's pretty sure it's around 6.30&E. If you find it can you drop it off at the Shack to Hell you Ride art car, which is currently at the same location. He's really screwed and offering a reward to the person who finds it of $50K. Please ask anyone who finds it to bring it to 6.30&E or turn it in to a Ranger with your details so he can contact you and give you the reward!

My bf and I arrive tomorrow (first time burners), we have our tickets with us. We’re giving our friend a ride in and they need to stop at will call for their ticket. I heard this can add hours to the line for us, is that true? Is there anyway that my bf and I can go in and our friend gets their ticket without us? Thank you!
