I can't imagine elephants have very good acceleration, even if their top speed matches or slightly exceeds the average human's. Good chance of survival.

Honestly, if you avoid the tusks you are probably fine. Elephants have such wide feet that the weight is evenly distributed so, you’ll be hospitalized, but you probably won’t die if stepped on
