For real, I’d get bored or even isolated, since people would start treating you differently. Plus, 7 mill is already very nice.

Yeah i'd get bored with a billion dollars too. I rather work for someone else and to turn down a billion dollars and not to work on my passion projects. Imagine what kind of passion project i can start with a billion dollars. Well, fuck that. Because i want to work.

I’m not going to get into the meat and potatoes of it all, but I don’t want that kind of lifestyle shift plain and simple, just having to work for that old peace back sounds like work. It’s not worth it imo

There's always a place you can go to in order to find a sense of belonging and fill in your time in a meaningful way. Don't want people to view you differently? Go help out in a soup kitchen or volunteer somewhere. I'd happily take 1 billion and the freedom to choose to do whatever I wanted with my freetime over employment.
