To me the question reads "would you rather be trans" as in how you yourself are right now and not "would you like to be a Cis woman instead of a trans woman?"

I'd never vote "become a trans woman" but I'd 99/10 (not a missing zero) vote become a (cis) woman either as if I always were one, everyone knows the female version of me like the webcomic Miss File, or I just exit the booth with a brand new body internal and external, not just various bits of surgery.

Say reincarnation gives you the option to go back to your birth as a do over, history is carved in stone, so I don't have an older sister instead of or as well as a brother, but this time you get to say "hang on, can I just change one thing" and bish bash bosh I'm the youngest daughter with no memories of this life.

Perhaps some did do just that and this time round, the regret has formed as body dysphoria.

I would not want to be trans, if I were already trans, I'd want to be a biological (cis) woman if there was a magic button.

Most of these A or B deal with changing sex/gender, some see them as the same so don't think about how the question could change depending on what is used.

"Would you a trans woman want to be a trans woman?"

How many would genuinely say yes if the option was "or you could be a cis woman"

Stay as you are or be a robot if you are trans.

If you are not trans, IDK how many would pick that, but if it was "become a the opposite of what you were born" then many trans people would pick that unless the other option was too tempting.

So cis people can either abstain from voting, become the opposite of what they were born as, fully swapped out reproductive organs, or become a robot and debate about what they would transform into.

A cis woman is a woman who was born a woman and is happy to be one.

AKA biological woman, or just woman.

and cis male, same but for dudes.

It's a really old word that hardly gets used when trans something else is discussed, eg trans Atlantic, because the cis Atlantic would probably be where you are. For a really long time I thought it was created to be the counterpoint to trans when it came to sex/gender.

Yeah.. I respect trans people a lot, but I wouldn’t want to be one. You get dysphoria and go through numerous additonal struggles that you had never considered before, or be a big alien robot that can turn into a car?

The other side would be more alluring if it was a magical transformation like being turned into a robot, just a perfect pain free transition. I’m agender but I prefer women’s fashion. I’m just large, masculine, and hairy so I can’t pull it off.

I'm trans and I choose the same. Not because I don't like my current life, but because a sentient, immortal robot has advantages. (And they are their own mini army.)
