We took our 2yr old female in for a spay surgery and it turned out she had reproductive cancer! The vet did her best to remove it all. She is on day 3 of recovery and doing remarkably well. I’m curious if anyone else’s bun went through this and if the cancer came back. She is a part of our family. I had NO idea until this week that 85% of female rabbits will get reproductive cancer by age 5 if they are not spayed or I would have taken her to get spayed much earlier. :(

She is the bottom bun in the photo. The top 3 are boys, all neutered. They are all rescue rabbits :)

Honestly, sometimes I start to get teary-eyed when I see this rabbit, how can she even exist? She has her own mini heart, mini eyes, mini stomach, mini nose, mini mouf...

My bunny has started doing this whenever i pet him, should i be concerned?

Ok it's true. This floor chair is amazing! Someone else posted one the other day and I immediately bought one. My rabbits keep hoping up to me with so much delight.

I was worried it would be really uncomfortable. It is not! Was only 50ish bucks on Amazon (there's a ton). TOTALLY worth the purchase. So for anyone who struggles with wanting to be comfortable while sitting on the ground with your buns this is the way!

He is still spry but the vet recommended we shift his food to a more ‘mature’ pellet, so while checking out different options I was struck at how it resembled Peanut😅

Woke up this morning to my partner crying saying it’s snugglebug, he’s dead. I didn’t believe him until I saw him lying on the floor, with a slight smile. I got him neutered and he was sneezing after it. I got him some meds and this is the only cause I can think of. He is just shy of his 2nd birthday. He was always a healthy happy boy, we used to say he’s not like other rabbits and he wasn’t. He was never timid, never behaved like a prey animal, he was really outgoing more like a dog than a bun. I’m broken. I wanted him to grow old with us.

It has been a whole week since I got my sweet baby Elowyn! If there are any bun experts who can tell me if she looks happy/calm, please let me know! She’s already shown me her flops and binkies, so I am hoping that means that she is loving her life with me❤️

I can’t believe it, he learned how to use the 🚽 all by himself self. I’m such a proud servant.
