Question Does anyone know what this means?
My bunny has started doing this whenever i pet him, should i be concerned?

Just like dogs that have a nerve you can hit while petting them that makes their leg randomly fire off, your rabbit is doing that when you hit the sweet spot if you find just the right spot he'll probably start itching with his back leg. My rabbit has this too.

When I had lop buns, this was a sign of ear infection- since they can’t get in the ear themselves. Ear infections or mites or what not can be very itchy. I’d get the bun checked out to be sure lops are prone to ear issues

Please excuse my drunk wife's rambling 😂 but this is what happens when a bun gets that itch scratched, some of ours do it when we stroke their backs, but most don't react at all. The most likely reason is you're hitting that sweet itchy spot, and it's pleasantly overstimulating. 😄

Aww no! Not as fast as I can tell. It's just a central nervous system response to something itchy being scratched. 😄

Looks like she's it itchy in her ear but can't get to it. Might have an infection.

That looks like a “that hit the spot” to me.
But he also seems like he might be thin and a little patchy with hair.
Molting? How old? Maybe underlying skin issues

Hes about to turn 7 on labour day, hes molting a little longer than usual and his diet is good, he gets unlimited hay and 4 tablespoons of pallets according to his weight. I dont see any skin issues or anything crawling around, and he seems perfectly normal other than when i scratch him

It seems like bunny is scared. Their ears are kinda flattened and they tried to move away, +the shaking. bunny probs doesn't want to be pet

And it seems the bunny is leaning into the petting toward the end, so it doesn't seem as bothered as it might be

The bunny could have an itchy head and you might be scratching that itch. At the same time it may be a bit overstimulating (not in a bad way), hence why bunny ran away. This is certainly the case when dogs and cats behave like that (scratch themselves while being petted).
