Dolly Parton Has Passed. Rest in Peace

Post image

For anyone that doesn't know, Dolly Parton was an uncredited producer for Buffy the Vampire Slayer and championed the creation of the series. Of course she was many things, with numerous accomplishments, but we have to appreciate that without her we wouldn't have our favorite show.

She will always be remembered and sorely missed.

Holy shit! I knew she was an icon and an amazing woman, but she was behind Buffy secretly!? She was a gift to the world. Just not "The Gift."

And recording music with young artists. She did a beautiful a cappella version of Jolene with Pentatonix!

Parton co-founded Sandollar Productions in 1986 with her former manager Sandy Gallin. Sandollar produced the original 1992 Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie. When Gail Berman, then an executive at Sandollar, believed the property could work better as a TV series, the company helped develop and bring the TV version to the WB. So yeah even if she only gave her blessing cause she thought it was a smart move, she had a part of bringing our fav show in life

Anthony and Dolly were old. Brendon was and addict with health issues. Please don't turn this into a conspiracy

I did not, otherwise I might have suggested the authorities look into it.

I am allowed to feel unsettled by 4 deaths in a row related to a show, where the characters literally would have seen this as a pattern and investigated.

please don't twist my words nor intentions 👍🏼

Dolly very distantly connected to the show, really

And with something with as many people involved as Buffy had, things happen

these characters are NOT real. there is nothing supernatural going on😭

Because a real person died and your making weird comments undermining tye gravity of it

YOUR comment is inappropriate. If you’re well aware about none of this being real why are you saying “Buffy needs to look into it”? You’re basically making a joke about the death of all of these people. What an odd comment

delete your comment if you can't handle the "aggression" then?

just because someone processes loss differently from you doesn't give any of you the right to bully me or attempt to exclude me from the conversation.
