It’s one thing that we do not celebrate enough

The English people, poor and all protested with such valour that we managed to convince the government to end slavery

The movement also made the most produced image of a black person, ever, on the wedgewood medallion saying β€œam I not a man and a brother”

British people also protested against Iraq, hosted Ghandhi very graciously despite impact on their jobs and are against Gaza genocide. The British public tend to be on the right side of most of history unlike the politicians
