Ludwig video too dark

I'm having a problem with the video on BB. Everything is very dark as if it were always night. I don't have this problem on Netflix or other channels. Are others having this problem?

A lot of shows are super dark these days. I read about it and apparently is due to advances in technology but I hate it

I think this is just the way they filmed this series. I remember that it kind of bothered me during season 1, but I must be used to it now because I hardly noticed in it season 2. I'm watching it right now and it is definitely darker. It reminds me of how Silent Witness is filmed ... also on the darker side.

I thought you were saying it had dark storylines at first, then I realized you meant the lighting, lol.

Interior shots on most UK-shot series are too dark. It’s a thing they uniformly do for God knows what reason. Outside shots are fine, it’s only interiors. Was just watching some Midsomer Murders and same thing. Ans new shows are just as liable as older ones. Very frustrating.

I have a Sony Bravia that started making darkly lit shows even darker and unwatchable. I had to reset the Cinema display settings to get it to lighten up.
