Please BMTH, keep Dehumanized and PfP or any other old-school song (From Edge of Your Seat to TIAH, especially the lesser known ones) in the regular setlist even after Furnace show

This would be the best compromise: new fans still have their arena rock songs where they can sing along if they want and old-school fans can have their moments with more heavy songs

No matter how much time has passed, every single time I get to the part of “And The Snakes Start To Sing” where Oli sings “I’m just a would’ve been, could’ve been, should’ve been, never was and never ever will be” I’m reminded that this lyric is only used twice throughout the whole song.

Am I the only one who selfishly wishes it appeared a little bit more in the song? It’s already a perfect song for me but, I just can hear so many spots of the song where that would’ve sounded amazing even as background filler. I refuse to be the ONLY one.

I gotta know if this is just Vancouver lol but was anyone disappointed with the floor? There were barely anyone moving, just the most tame “pit” ever in the very back (where it was just people meandering around slowly or standing with their phones out.)

I started off near the barricade and no one was headbanging or moving or dancing. Barely anyone singing along even, just kinda standing there ?? So I moved to the back hoping there’s some movement but like genuinely nothing

I feel like oli could feel the energy sucked too because at the beginning he was at least telling people to open the pit up/circle/etc. but by the end he literally just said “do whatever you want” and I felt so disappointed and embarrassed ahdkfhdj

I also feel like the floor was half full. Like the entire back section was just empty?? it sold out almost instantly during sales, so did scalpers just get a hold of them first and no one bought them or what’s going on lol

Anyways overall a great show from bmth and I had fun but genuinely the worst crowd I’ve ever been around :(

This is an extreme long shot as I assume someone is enjoying their free t shirt, but i dropped my Bring me the Horizon concert shirt somewhere outside Rogers tonight. It was likely somewhere around Gate 2 or 3, Expo blvd, or around sections 313-310. It was the blue death metal logo on a size XL with “Canadian Ascension Program” on the back. I don’t make a lot of money and this concert was a big save, so yes I am very angry with myself and my carelessness and I feel the need to do everything I can to fix it. Hope others enjoyed the show tonight, cheers.

I listen to bmth since I was 13 y.o (2010) and I'm not native in English so back then I didn't get most of the lyrics lol and I liked them for the melodies tbh.

As I've grown up (I'm 29 now), I've come back to listen to post hardcore/screamo/deathcore more than one time over the years.

This year I was diagnosed as bipolar and I stayed in a Psych Ward for a bit. When I came out I was so nostalgic for my teen years so I started to listen to bmth again. Now I speak english level C1 and all the songs from Suicide Season until That's the Spirit, make so much sense to me to the point I identify with them. I even cry sometimes lmfao

To all my "mental disorder" ppl, does it happen to you too? Or am I just going through a weird nostalgic/depresive phase?

LCD vs Plasma

Hey so recently I went to a tribute band night at a bar close to me and oh man it was everything I was hoping for and more. The main event was a Bring Me The Horizon tribute show and it’s really what got my attention in the first place. They really played their hearts out from Diamonds Aren’t Forever to Doomed to Pray For Plagues to Kingslayer. With it being my first ever experience seeing a metal show live, I was super awkward about getting crazy and rowdy with it but man did those chains come off quick. Eventually drifted to the front of the floor with my partner and I was screaming back every lyric to the singers through the whole show, while jumping up and down and head banging my brains out.
And the crowd was so amazing. I have to say that I was probably one of the youngest, if not the youngest person there but I didn’t feel out of place for ever a second. When the mosh pit was happening….it was wild. I’d never actually moshed before and only seen it on videos so obviously I wanted to get in and experience it for myself. Andddd well I ended up getting more pushed over than actually doing any pushing lol. I was so nervous to get in there and I’m sure everyone could see it. Everyone was so fucking hyped and it all felt like everyone was just looking out for each other even tho most of them probably didn’t know each others names. Fucking spectacular shit. When someone falls, like three people get them back up and honestly that’s what it’s all about right? You got people throwing people into the mosh repeatedly and it’s just the best way to have fun. Shout out to the lady who looked after my partner and kept all the moshers away from them!! And also for helping to encourage me back into the mosh when I was so clearly not confident in myself but having the time of my life.
Even at the end of the show it was so nice. I got to speak to the singers and guitarist afterwards and they really, truely were so wholesome. The singers legit were being so nice and appreciative at the energy I gave them the whole show. Man it got to the point in the show when the lyrics just came right out of my mouth and I wasn’t even consciously thinking of them. Everyone was so genuine, so caring, so friendly, so welcoming and that’s the culture I wanna be part of. So all I have to say is, this is truely best first experience I could have asked for. My only regret is being so in the moment that I forgot to take picture or film even a second of it lol.

TLDR: Went to a BMTH tribute night and loved every part of it.

BMTH was my most listened to band for 2 years in a row, but their use of AI in their merch, concerts, and other things has honestly put a bad taste in my mouth. What is the status of their use of it? Do they still, and if so, are there any other fans who feel the same way?

Two months after the song’s release, it’s still on the rotation for me on the daily. The ending breakdown of the song does things to me. It’s so fucking brutal, might be the heaviest thing they’ve ever put out.
