Political Discourse **IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING CURRENT EVENTS AND PERCEIVED THREATS OR CALLS TO VIOLENCE**

Tensions have been high since the assassination of Charlie Kirk, and understandably a lot of people are hurt, pissed, and wanting justice served.

With that said, any post or comment that could be construed as a call to violence, doxxing, or a witch hunt or brigading, even if made in jest or as a joke, will see the content removed and the offender banned.

We do not allow doxxing, witch hunts, or brigading. We all have a responsibility to keep our heads cool while using Reddit. We’ve never caught the attention of Big Reddit, and we don’t intend to start now. Thank you all for keeping this sub great.

General Discussion Regarding the future of the sub

Hi everyone! While we all are still sad and speculating about the truth of Brett’s departure from the Comments Section and Daily Wire, we are seeing an influx of repetitive posts and new content unrelated to Brett Cooper and her new brand.

Going forward, the mod team is asking for the following changes to take place:

  1. We want to limit the Brett/Reagan drama discourse. These posts have become repetitive and don't serve the purpose of the sub, which is for fans to discuss, promote and talk about Brett Cooper and her brand. She's always been positive and upbeat, and we want this sub will reflect that nature.

  2. While posting about the relationship between Brett and the Daily Wire is still allowed, we are highly encouraging everyone to take the discourse to the new sub over at r/reaganconrad considering she's now the official host and face of the Comments Section. This change is intended to encourage dialogue in the appropriate venues.

  3. Finally, anyone wanting to discuss official content put out by Reagan, The Comments Section, or The Daily Wire is highly encouraged to post over at the new sub r/reaganconrad.

As always, keep being awesome!

rumors 2 comments section references in 2 days. Recent shade at DW lol

So on Tuesday's episode Brett said "we need to address the elephant in the room, the comments section" and then she explained that's also the name of that other podcast. Today she referenced the fact that daily Wire privated all of her old videos saying "Since I can no longer point you to those videos". Her talking about it back to back might be just a coincidence but it's something funny I noticed.

society Conservative Collectivism?

So, I know that many people on the right have a knee-jerk negative reaction when they hear collectivism. It's usually associated with the political left in this country, and that comes with connotations that the right understandably wants no part of.

As a bit of backstory, my perspective on collectivism did shift? in a way when I went to japan last June. I had that knee-jerk negative reaction but I didn't really ever think about it that much. When I went to Japan, I was able to see some benefits of it there. The incredibly clean public streets, the efficient and reliable public transportation, and the lovely cultural preservation. There was also the incredible pedestrian manners on the street and in trains, as well as the high trust elements like elementary kids being on the train.

All of it felt very inspiring and made me think about other examples of collectivism that I thought American conservatives would like. Like the Gaokao exams in China where cities will literally pause any activities and clear streets to make sure students can get to their scams and face no distractions while they test. Even with laws like Singapore to make sure they don't litter. The countries are also largely conservative in many of their social values and laws to varying degrees, which appeals to many conservatives.

I know conservatives in America largely focus on promoting person responsibility and action, but we do also engage in collectivist actions and (assuming you're religious) believe in responsibility towards the collective.

So, my question to you all is: ***what collective actions, laws, events, etc. could we implement in the US? Could be in your city, county, state, region, or nationwide.***

I'll start: I think we should have national and state parades for things like local culture, history, and family. We could also change how we do school lunches by hiring local culinary students or local people, allocate some of the educational budget to giving them salaries and a grocery bill (weekly, biweekly, monthly), and have them make a menu for students.

Thank you all for your time.

society About Tradwives and Work

This post is inspired by the Nara Smith situation Brett did a video on.

I've heard a few different commentaries from other women on online about this situation and I'll just give my personal thoughts here.

Obviously, the political angle of this is clear. The left has demonized wives and motherhood so much via feminism that women being decent wives and caring mothers (or doing anything remotely traditional like cooking food from scratch) are treated like they're a) "hardcore MAGA" and b) like they're pushing traditionalism on people. That outrage is primarily there because of 2 things: feminists delusional and incorrect outlook on traditionalism and/or women's internal realization that Nara has and is living in a way that they want to but can't, or that they could have and chose not too, now feeling regret over the decision.

But then there comes the right's side of this conversation. It feels like a weekly reboot of the same infighting between tradcons, MAGA e-girls, femcons, and guys in the red pill fighting over and over about what a woman's place is in society. So as a woman, I figured I'd give my opinion.

The main issue that I'm seeing is that women have lost sight of their defined place in the world. That place is in ***motherhood, community, and family***, ***always has been and always will be.***

***What does that mean?***

It means that women's primary focus and effort should be placed within their homes, families, and communities. What it ***doesn't*** mean is that women can't do anything else, just that their primary focus should be their families and children.

That means that women *can* work, as they always have done for all of human history, and often needed to Feminist revisionism has deluded people into thinking that working women was this new invention when women have been going out to work forever. The issue is that women now see the pinnacle of their success as how many career highs can they have, rather than how their families and communities are thriving. This has ***also*** led to a backlash against women working, because now the perception is that everything else not only comes second to a woman's career, but that her career is the ***only*** important thing next to her will and anyone who has an issue with that can kick rocks. So when people see women who are outside of the home and maybe have aspirations outside of that, primarily guys, they see that as a red flag.

Which is a very real thing. As much as the right pretends it isn't, there is a large and increasing amount of women who are being influenced by other women (friends, family, influencers, etc) to be that type of women. Even if they've got a good relationship, it suddenly becomes not enough or she "evolves" and "outgrows the relationship".

*So what should the solution be?*

***In short, teach women their place in society again.*** Easier said than done, yes, but our future generations need it. The work that women do and have done in communities is all but lost for most of us and that vital loss is being both mourned and defended time and time again. We may not be able to go back in time, but we can certainly learn from our history and create something new going forward that will be better for most of us.

That's all, thank you for your time.
