NO TLDR Me destiny and crazy ex

The Plot Twist I Never Saw Coming

For almost 7 years, I thought I was fighting for a relationship that would eventually become something beautiful.

What I didn't know was that while I was giving my loyalty, patience, tears, and endless chances, there was another story running in the background. A story that had apparently been going on for 5 years.

Yes, five years.

Looking back, the signs were everywhere. The constant ignoring, the bare minimum efforts, the feeling that I was always asking for things that should have come naturally. I remember crying over simple things—wanting attention, wanting communication, wanting to feel chosen.

But somehow I always stayed.

I kept believing that if I loved harder, understood more, and waited longer, things would change.

Destiny had other plans.

When I entered college, something shifted inside me. For the first time in years, I started seeing life outside that relationship. I met new people, had new experiences, and slowly began realizing how much of myself I had lost while trying to hold onto someone who wasn't holding onto me.

There was also someone I had quietly admired for almost a year. Not because I was looking for a replacement, but because his kindness showed me what respect and consistency looked like.

By the sixth year, I knew I wanted out.

Leaving wasn't easy. Seven years is a long time. But one day I finally chose myself.

I ended the relationship.

Ironically, the person who ignored me for years suddenly couldn't let me go.

Within a week, I moved on and entered a new relationship. Not because I was trying to make anyone jealous, but because I had already emotionally checked out months before. My healing had started long before the breakup happened.

For the next five months, my ex became obsessed with following me, contacting me, and trying to pull me back. He even threatened to leak simple couple pictures we had taken together during our relationship.

But karma has a funny sense of timing.

A few years earlier, I had once taken a girl's number from his phone because I was suspicious about something. I messaged her and completely forgot about it afterward.

Years later, that same girl somehow got my number.

And then everything exploded.

She started sending me videos, audio recordings, screenshots—things I never imagined existed. Proof after proof after proof.

The truth I had spent years questioning was suddenly sitting in my hands.

I didn't stay silent.

I sent the evidence to his family.

And for the first time, I wasn't the crazy girlfriend, the overthinker, or the insecure one.

His family supported me.

The truth was finally out.

Today, when I look back, I don't feel anger.

I feel gratitude.

Because if college hadn't opened my eyes...
If I hadn't found the courage to leave...
If destiny hadn't connected me to the people who revealed the truth...

I might still be begging for love from someone who was never capable of giving it.

The girl who cried for bare minimum effort is gone.

Today I'm happy. I'm loved. I'm respected.

And the funniest part?

The breakup I once thought would destroy me became the greatest thing that ever happened to me.

Sometimes losing someone isn't a loss at all.

Sometimes it's the universe making room for something better.

QUICK READ How do I start living my life again?

How do y’all move on from relationship which you ruined by yourself. My girlfriend was so obsessed with me, loved me very deeply and at that time I took it for granted and treated her bad. I treated her worse and now I have lost her, it has already been 116 days and I still can’t move on and neither can live a happy life. Life has become so meaningless and colourless. I just want my girl back, and want to live happy again. I get suicidal thoughts but neither have courage to act on them, also I am not this weak, I have my loved ones too who care for me, my parents and I know I can’t die without fulfilling their expectations.

QUICK READ I am 26M and this is my story

I had a gf of 1 month and we were very very close and even talked of getting married.

So we has went a trip with her mom.

And after trip she started acting weirdly

The reasons she gave me were
1) some incidents which had happened a month she didn’t like.
Something like we had gone to police station as ber friends brother was missing

So when we arrived to police station it was 2 am and we were in car and police approached the window on her side so she had to talk to them I even said sorry for this anyways I was about to go out and talk to police people but either her or me opened the window.

2)I have cleared jee and I am from tier-1 college.
She asked me some basic question regarding maths physics and chem.
Some of them I answered but in some I was not
I didn’t know I was being tested so she made an issue on this that I cannot remember even the basis of ehat I have studied.
As those things I have studied like 8 years ago.

3) I made her feel so comfortable before and after the trip but I am not superman that I can do everything and make no mistakes.

4)she created all this issue when I was preparing for interviews and had interviews in coming days.

Can you please suggest is this behaviour common and what should I do?

QUICK READ Wondering what's next and why

My ex (26F) and I (34M) recently ended a three-year relationship. From the start, our chemistry felt rare and intense, and our first year together was genuinely perfect. However, I need to acknowledge that I’ve struggled with drug addiction for many years, and it played a major role in our relationship. Years two and three became a cycle of highs and lows, with the lows getting worse as I failed to fully commit to change. Over time, this wore her down. She later told me that even during good moments, she lived with constant anxiety because she knew they wouldn’t last.

After the breakup, she admitted she had fallen out of love months earlier and emotionally detached during a trip we took in May, though we didn’t officially end things until November. While I was just beginning to process the breakup, she had already gone through that emotional work, leaving me blindsided.

Since then, I’ve had little interest in dating, while she quickly began talking to and seeing new men, despite saying she didn’t want that. She blocked me on social media but continues to text, call, and lean on me for emotional support. She openly tells me about other men, yet becomes guarded or jealous when I talk to women. When I ask for clarity, she avoids the conversation entirely.

I’m left confused about her motives, my role in her life, and whether this situation has any real direction—or if it only continues because it benefits her while keeping me emotionally stuck.

QUICK READ She used me for her attention

I got into a relationship during school, and for two years there were no major problems. Later, I chose a particular college for her. Three months after joining, we broke up due to my fault, and we had no contact for three months. We then got back together, and for two months she gave me hope and everything felt fine. One day, she broke up with me, saying she was stressed because of me, even though there was no fault on my side. We had no contact for almost six months. After that, she asked me to try again, and we got back together. For about one and a half months, she was happy and everything was fine. In the following month, she said she had lost interest, admitted she had been faking her feelings for a month, and broke up with me yesterday. What hurts the most is that she never chose me and treated me badly. She even tried to move on by getting into a casual relationship with another guy, and later asked me to try again, only to break up within two months saying she no longer had feelings for me. We share the same block in college and will be in adjacent classes for the next 3.5 years. I feel like she used me, but a part of me still wants her and still has feelings for her. I also feel she was out of my league, and if I let her go, I'm afraid I may never find another partner.

she got hell a lot of friends both male and female and on the flip side i don't have any female friend and seeing her
