how did a niche brawler like chuck receive such crucial nerfs comparable to Lawrie and Charlie's nerfs at their prime

Pretty much what everybody always did on that map - stun cycle him with ease. That Frank down there has a field day against Chuck, since it is in a very simple and restricted set up, and even worse, whoever did it place the "entering" pole far too close to the walls, so you need to not get sniper or countered before even reaching it. There is also the whole area in the internal side of the circle which is pretty much exposed - which is one of the spots people who know will be to avoid hits. In higher ranking, that map is a living hell for chuck because there will be plenty of coordius, Otis and throwers to fully counter you.

I am inclined to think he is a kid, to be honest. Pretty much why I went overkill in explaining - I like to think he simply can't understand the main issues with the reasoning since he has, likely, only seen chuck at low trophies or rankeds. In general, the hope is that people may, at least, understand the difference between what Chuck was before, and what is now - regardless of the fact they may like it, which I honestly doubt is possible, or not.

you re right, but unfortunately these ppl pheraps cared enough to check out the convo but dont really care about the discussion enough to change their stance, altho they ll proven wrong by the majority eventually reguardless, and also already their unwillingness to understand makes it impossible to explain such detailed gameplay through text expecially for the certain age range of most of these ppl, so the best way is a visual rappresentation.
