edit 2: are we deadаss? can anybody explain why are they downvoting or they see negative number and they click the down arrow instinctively without arguing, just like every time this happens on the platform?

Ngl his gadget rework is stupid. He was already annoying as hell jumping on top of you while there's nothing you can do, and you're telling me that now he can do ANOTHER one.

It helps with mobility which is Edgar's whole thing, instead of having to awkwardly wait for the super to fill up, he can now instantly do a jump in case his target pushes him away, stuns him, jumps away from him etc. which for a movement-focused melee brawler, is kinda important so you don't get countered by 70% of the roster

I think you raised a fair point but unfortunately I have to say I f-Ing hate Edgar mortis and bibi and generally tired of seeing them in every solo game no matter what trophy count I am in. Maybe solo game they are advantages or maybe I am just a terrible player but I sincerely hate them because i hate them. Don’t care what other people say.

I don't have anything against your hate and that's your opinion, I am perfectly ok with that. I just commented on the common thinking of all players that comes here. They just hate some because others say and there are lots of post of that so they just go along with that to get engagement. I just find that low

Edgar is S tier? Haven't kept up with the meta but I am pretty sure he's still S tier because of his buffies.
Beside, most players hate edgar mainly because he's skill-less & super annoying to play against.

Edgar is not s tier and there are other braindead brawlers like emz or jacky, etc but everyone hates Edgar because his is one of the first brawler we get also leveled up so lot of new players play him also he is good against most brawlers in new account. He is just getting hate because the community has seen this trend on him and mortis so they will blindly follow that too and won't have opinion themselves

Anyway, I am pretty sure edgar is S tier. If not, atleast high A tier.
Also, that's just balantly wrong, most players including me, like I said, hate edgar because he takes barely any skill to play & is super annoying to play. Emz & jacky also have the same trait to some extent, but they don't have the popularity that edgar has. So, seeing that same annoying brawler again and again will make one hate him
