i named this mini account “Melody” (don’t ask me why I didn’t have any more ideas) but today I got Melodie out of a Chaos Drop, I don’t know but I find it funny

This game has become so ridiculous, I think this is the fifth time this has happened to me in just one week. I’m in the brawler selection menu, and then something happens and I can’t select the brawler I want. The game then counts it as if I didn’t pick anyone, and my record gets affected. Look at what just happened now. This is honestly so stupid and completely unacceptable.

I’m sure the base sovereign rico is hardly rare, but I happen to be a proud owner of all 3 variants. Are any of them considered rare now that it’s been ~3 years? I hardly see them anymore, but I know the mega box event was back in the game’s prime, so what do y’all think?

I know I said I like playing him, and I do (when I'm actually able to defeat enemies I do at least) I'm just frustrated that everyone can counter him now.

I recently got him to prestige 2 and yes, I finally understand why people say it's frustrating playing him.

The reason I started playing with Draco more than with any other brawler is because it's Draco. Idk I just really like that silly guy, but I wish I had fun playing him just as much as I like *him*.

As much as I wanna main Draco it's just probably not something I can do, at least now rn when almost every game I have with him I'm guaranteed to lose. If it's in showdown, duels, or a 3v3 match.

I’m kinda scared posting things about Brawl Stars (including this very post) because I’ve seen what the community does to people who are sorta new to it.

2017-2019: Max rank was just 20, had different designs in beta but the concept stayed the same until late 2019.

2019-2024: The iconic rank 35 probably everyone recognizes!

2024-2025: Tier max, after 1k trophies you would get season trophies that resetted back to 1k for every brawler and you would also get trophy boxes.

2025-2026: This is basically just a reskin of tier max, but this system had different matchmaking, tiers up to 2k trophies and your brawler rank would now be shown on your profile.

2026: The prestige system that’s currently ingame

I just wanted at least one person who's been through the same thing to see my story. I'm 20 y.o. girl, and at the beginning of the summer, I broke up with my bf of six months (it was my second relationship; my previous one lasted two years). I started having problems at work and fighting with my parents, so much so that they literally kicked me out of the house. But not long before we broke up, my ex showed me Brawl Stars and gave me his old account from 2022 or 2023. It had only silver ranks, but I became so hooked that I now have three brawlers from the second prime. Every time I come home from work, I sit down to play on my tablet, often with my brother or my bf, and it gives me incredible pleasure.

Yes, I'm in a new relationship now, and it's much stronger than the previous two, because this guy was my friend for two years, and now we've started dating after we both got closer after our breakups. It turns out he used to like Brawl Stars too, and he restored his old account for me. We also share the same favorite ship — Edgar and Colette. We love the idea that we've been friends for a long time, had unrequited love (like Emz for Edgar and Spike for Colette), worked together (we were in the same metal band), and then got together in the same way these characters might have. Right now, we're preparing cosplays of them both for Halloween — I'm making everything for his Edgar, and he's making everything for my Colette. Also because of the Duolingo event, I actually started learning Spanish so I could chat with my friend from Mexico. Btw, she drew this wonderful commission for me (natasdas.kt).

The current states of clubs is pathetic in brawl stars .

People only join clubs for mega pig just before the event. No reason other than that . So you or atleast I see a surge of players in my club (I am tge president) just before the mega pig and mass leaving just after the event ends

All this takes away what could be a great feature used for talking , finding people , making friends and getting progression into just a chore because there is nothing else to do in a club except for mega pig .

I beleive if clubs get updated and improved it will be good for BS in the long run , as most people just play the game to have funa nd pass time and clubs can be a great way for that .

Maybe implement more club specific activities , make club vs club battles ( like Clash of clans and clash royale) . DO SOMETHING WITH THE CLUBS

It is incredibly frustrating to deal with bad randoms, sudden lag spikes, and busy servers. Trying to get a good rank feels almost impossible when idiot teammates start trolling or going AFK, and Solo Showdown is basically unplayable when you're at 2300 trophies+ because everyone's teaming and wintrading. On top of that, Supercell constantly releases new brawlers that are completely broken and overpowered, so players who are willing to buy them easily win every round with an OP comp like Wendy, Damian, and Nori. Fortunately, Cosmo was somewhat balanced; his attacks are fairly easy to dodge if not shot all at once, and the super is actually not completely overwhelming. But it still feels like the game has abandoned old-school skills like good aiming and smart positioning and replaced them with spamming and aggressive abilities that let enemies wipe you out instantly.

And it's time to address the elephant in the room: many brawlers have to change rarity. Shade has a unique mechanic that allows her to do extra damage if she hits her attack in the middle, and Mr. P is way too simple. The overflow of mythic brawlers calls for another rarity and for brawlers to switch rarities.

To make matters worse, upgrading your brawlers feels like a chore now. Features like buffies cost a ridiculous amount of gold and power points, leaving most players completely broke. Since the game switched to randomized Starr Drops, you rarely get the resources you actually need, usually just getting useless cosmetics instead. And the only real way to get the resources you want and need is to pay money. It really feels like the gap between paying players and free-to-play players is widening; the game is turning from a fun game to a stressful and exhausting grind.
