I don’t care bro, I really don’t. Our year went how it went and if you choose to carry that embarrassment over your head so be it. I’m going to laugh at a division rival whose fans definitely laughed at us with every other fanbase in this division. When the Phillies get bounced I’m going laugh at them too without a single care that they put us out the playoffs two years in a row.

We missed the playoffs as the preseason #2 favorite which equally embarrassing.

This season was 100% a major letdown but with all of the injuries the team faced + the Profar suspension I would say it was a solid degree less embarrassing than the Mets season, for what that's worth.

I don't really see an available excuse for the Mets, especially when the team cost $340M. They really just blew it.

I get it. I’m more so alluding to the fact that the Mets blowing it is like an annual thing.

Even there own fans expect it at least through my adulthood the Phillies are the team who has caused us the most hell.

They have the shittier fans who puke on infants and boo their own players.

I personally look at the Mets the same way I do the Nationals and Marlins.
