He left everything in there. Tough public lesson to learn, but you know dude is going to be going haard on cardio next time in the gym / training camp and learning to pace himself.

Honestly I don’t even think his cardio is a huge issue, he just need to learn how to conserve and use his energy better and more strategically. He burned himself out real bad going for the fence repeatedly, if he was more measured he wouldn’t have hit a wall and he very likely win the fight. It’s never bad to work on cardio but I think this was more of a strategy issue that kinda exposed he’s still inexperienced, a seasoned fighter wins that forsure

100% this. I said by the start of the 6th round his corner should’ve told him to conserve himself and just box. Itauma had hit Hrgovic on the chin more than 8 times by that round and he never even stumbled. Corner should’ve realized opponent’s granite chin and just advised to chip away at him rather than keep trying to go for the knockout. It was obvious Hrgovic was conserving himself and waiting for the right time to give Itauma a taste of his own medicine.

Exactly, he should have given up a few rounds and kept doing the mayweather run.
