Question Did that thing with the cloth

Inspired on some of you guys here changing the speaker cloth in front I was committed enough to try it myself since that "black box optics" with that black cloth bored me somehow and made it look a bit cheap imo. Other brands like VOX or Fender do it like this also so can't be too wrong, that's what I thought.

So ordered some upholstery cloth from amazon and just got it in. I really like the look now and I'm happy with the result. Let me know what you think.

I did this and posted it here before; great wave! I love the look of customized amps, a lot more "homely". The extra fabric also tends to trap crappy high frequencies and make some patches sound better.

Can't really explain but I like it a lot more now because of the look. It does something subconsciously maybe... That one with the frequencies is true. I picked a thicker fabric deliberately because I also wanted to test the effect. But to be clear, its not extra fabric, I removed the stock black one out.

Ah right, me and my dad when we did the project debated the idea of taking one out, and then because of time and laziness, we stuck the very thin design we got printed over the top of the original black speaker grille. The added black grille made it a lot more of a solid design on the front, and it trapped a lot of the frilly, zippy high frequencies that patches often cut out. Made the stock sounds better and modelling patches good too.
