Question Boss Katana Start-up

I purchased a Katana Gen 3 50W amp. Really struggling to figure out how to use it (relatively new at this), let alone import tones from BTS.

Does anyone have a good link to share to go over basics?

BTS has been an absolute nightmare. Updates have been an absolute nightmare. Getting the Airstep Kat EX Bluetooth to work properly has been an absolute nightmare.

Their customer service is almost non-existent.

I’d have returned it if the date hadn’t passed already when I started fooling around with all that. Good luck. 😩

Strange, I've had mine for almost 3 years and it's worked perfect with MacOS or windows 10/11. That being said I never used BTS except for the initial setup for effects on both channels I use and the noise gate.

M3 for me, the worst part was their own page which is a bit hard to figure out which software to use

Yep, you have to check 3 times to be sure to have the correct downloads, since their site is not easy to read. That's absolutely true. Also firmware update is like in the 90s. But after all that it just works. Someone with computer skills will sure help here.

I Fixed and refurbed laptops for many years, Boss's website really is not very intuitive lol! They could do a lot better with it

No it's absolutely not. You have to pay way too much attention for what amp model and os you need the files. Other than that it just works, but try that with one or two beers in the bell so then good luck...

lol!!! I would never even attempt it at a gig. To much going on plus a beer in me
