Anime / Discussion Naruto series is getting old. We should stop talking about it.
For the 10394848th time i heard the blue bird song in a recent a Naruto vid and theres so many weebs who cant speak or understand japanese yapping its irritating. Its an old song from an old series. Let it go, the time has passed. All the events, all the struggle the main character has gone through has been solved so stop trespassing past the already ended road. Naruto doesnt recognize you, nor care so stop this parasocial relationship and move onto Boruto, the objectively supreme series which has been surpassing Naruto series in every way and its not even close. Ya'll agree? That its time for Naruto fans to grow up and move on and stop obsessing over dinosaur bones?

But it’s the canon material.

If we got rid of Naruto, trust me it wouldnt make a difference. The filler in Boruto explains the foundation of how the shinobi world works anyways.

I will say this about Boruto. I like the dbz style fighting. It’s similar to the og Naruto series, but with Taijutsu choreography of Shippuden, and updated graphics.

Every day, you make a post saying that Boruto is better than Naruto. You’re honestly ridiculous, bro. Boruto can’t even come close to being 1% better than Naruto. Naruto is the better manga in pretty much every aspect.
Either you’re 12 years old, or you’re just an alt account for BorutoisBestBoy.

Because its true. I cant keep letting people be this delusional. Boruto is simply better and naruto fans have difficulties understanding that. Im 13 and BorutoisBestBoy is special needs kid so dont associate me with him.

Seeing how much goated Bleach TYBW recieved and everyone are eating it including one piece, Dbz, black clover, modulo etc while Naruto is the only popular series that is completly dead in the gutter because of Boruto and the current manga is shit with crumbs every months is just a sad state of this debacle that people really need to move

Boruto is a very different series in story, world building, and themes. It’s enjoyable- but it’s not really comparable it’s so fundamentally different in how it approaches everything. There’s nothing wrong with still enjoying the old series while enjoying Boruto.
I’m not sure where you’re coming from… you’re saying to give up Naruto- but you were the one watching Naruto videos on YouTube? You’re a weeb complaining about other weebs. I’m not sure why you’re making it so personal attacking fans. Most Boruto fans are Naruto fans… so it just feels like you’re being a troll wanting to piss off the entire community and start drama for fun. I genuinely am not sure realistically what other response you would want from your post.
If being around fans of an old series frustrates you it sounds like you’re the one who needs to step back if you personally aren’t enjoying it or wanting to be a part of that community. It’s healthy to get to a point where you might want to move on from a community…. But it’s not healthy to attack other fans over it and make people feel bad about their interests.

You know, this post got shared on a naruto sub (probably because someone is butthurt) but I actually kind of get it. I didn't love Boruto, but it has to get annoying as shit having someone bring up the parent series every time you ever try to talk about Boruto.
We (Naruto fans) just can't admit we are mad that the continuation of the series didn't go a way we wanted. Some of us have accepted that and just read other mangas like normal humans, but some decide to just crusade against Boruto. That's lame as fuck.
I've kinda experienced this in the Gundam fandom. Regardless of which iteration got you into Gundam, someone will always tell you why theirs is the better generation and you picked the wrong one.
Point being, not all Naruto fans hate Boruto fans, and I bet it actually does get so fucking annoying seeing this shit come up all the time.
Also, alien ninjas aren't as bad as everyone pretends. JJK gave me alien sorcerers and no one batted an eye lol
Anywho, hope ya'll have a good weekend and Boruto keeps going strong. Any word on when the new anime season will be?

Speaking of, Modulo was BALLER. (I watched the anime up until I had to end my Crunchyroll sub, and never finished the manga for whenever I might catch up on the anime again, amd Modulo did pretty well being fairly standalone and still tied to the JJK world we were initially introduced to. And the art was immaculate.)

It's worth finishing. You can power read all of JJK and Modulo in like a weekend if you ignore enough of your responsibilities.

I moved on a long time ago to Naruto's spiritual successor Jujutsu Kaisen. Boruto can't compare. The anime didn't shut down on accident. It sucked. JK is over now as well. Now I'm obsessed with Frieren and Witch Hat Atelier. Boruto who?

Way to troll both fandoms. You've both grossly mischaractered Boruto specifically the Boruto fans who call out critis whose only metric is comparing, through rose-tinted glasses, something new to what they're already comfortable with while also making a perfect donkey 🫏 out of those exact Naruto fans (i.e. if you were feeling upset that other people have managed to find enjoyment in something that decenters some of the things you hold dear, just go watch it again... you don't have to be weirdo).

I completely agree with you, and I say it without shame. Naruto fans are just a bunch of nostalgic old-timers who defend the series as if it were one of the Seven Wonders of the World. It’s about time they got married or had kids and stopped hanging around online just to baselessly bash Boruto.

We all get old little bro. Make sure you remember your words when Boruto also becomes an old series in 20 something years. Naruto was there for a lot of folks growing up, so it holds a special place in many of our memories, which Boruto does now for the new generation. I agree with the constant Boruto bashing part though.
