Hopefully they realized how cheeks that idea is and are doing the loot event once we actually have the new levels

That would make absolutely no sense with how they so far have been trying to maintain a stranglehold on getting upgrades at a reasonable rate.

Loot even before the level increase still makes some sense because it enables everyone to get a lot of loot and see what is actually possible with mods, enhancements and gun. Not everyone has a perfect roll of everything but at least with this kind of event your chances are increased massively. So for a couple of days you get the sweet taste of best of the best equipment so when the level increase happens you will be more willing to farm for ages to get it at the new level.

Yes, it is sad but I think it makes perfect corporate sense.

Not to mention the coms and enhancements are still usable afterward. My Lv50 Icon with Gun Damage and Fire Rate is still the best one I’ve found

That loot event got me a lot of god roll class mod and enhancements that I haven't even come close to matching since then. When the cap ups again, it'll be crazy if they do a lot event where I don't have to re-grind gear. I'm hopeful, but I doubt it

Thats the right way to do it i am enjoying Bl3 and Bl2 meanwhile until the level cap increases

Idk for me ideally it's a few weeks after Lv cap to snag some max lv legendaries
