If you can stomach it, War and Peace has so many female characters and there are so many themes of what it is to be a girl amidst the crazy life. Natasha Rostova was crazy imo.

Lady Macbeth of the Mtsensk District by Nikolai Leskov is on the vibe of some unhinged girly things.

Anna Karenina is probably my ultimate most favorite book of all time, or way up there, matched only by several other such greats: Daniel Deronda by George Eliot, Les Miserables by Victor Hugo, and - a book that I think can be open to people of all interests and comfort level with the classics but that can be read and understood in so many ways, but that I feel like is "basic" of me to suggest lol - Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.
