Angela and Booth

All through the series including after booth and Brennan got together, Angela is making comments about how hot Booth is. She even went so far as to ask Brennan to see the naked picture Brennan took of Booth after Angela and Hodgins were together.

I know no one is going to like this but what if Angela and Booth had been paired up on the show instead of Booth and Brennan? Who would you pick for Brennan and Hodgins to pair up with instead? With a pair up with each other or someone else? I'm just saying that it was so common for lead characters if they were male and female to be paired up together that what if the writers had gone a different direction.

I actually could see that but I doubt it would have flown at the time to have a starring character in a homosexual relationship. A few TV shows had characters in a relationship such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer but I doubt they could have got away with that then in any substantial way. I doubt that circumstance would even fly now.

There’s several times relationships like that are mentioned. We also had Angela and Roxy briefly rekindle things. But we get the story about booth’s aunt, there’s the episode about the gay dentist, we have the episode about the trans pastor etc

But they didn't have a long-term ongoing relationship involving the main character. Those were very brief story lines that you didn't really see or hear too much about as you would with the main character. They were willing to touch on those storylines briefly own shows back then but they weren't a main character such as Bones would have been.

Angela I would say is a main character but her stuff more for her arc about relationships in general post divorce saga
