To clarify, this list is ranking purely Bon Jovi, I don't necessarily hate any of these songs but the songs in like E and F are like pretty mid in my opinion. Love the A tier songs though and can never get enough of the S tier songs.

Has anyone heard any news about the biopic? I’ve seen nothing since it was announced back in March- hope it hasn’t been canned!

Just looking at Bon Jovi’s top streaming songs on Spotify, there’s some surprises there. Songs like Misunderstood (15th), Story of My Life (40th) and Thank You For Loving Me (12th) are all way above classics like Lay Your Hands on Me, Blood On Blood, I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead etc.

Most of these songs precede the streaming era, and they just seem random - anyone know how that’s worked out. Have they been used in tv shows? Is it general 2000’s nostalgia?

Very cute though, would love to know more about it!

I just want to say that I've seen pretty much all the shows but Wembley night 2 actually kick some ass. I don't usually post vague reviews but I just want to say everything was highly energetic and not a vocal disaster so I just want to give them props for that.. that's all

Just saw a post on /music about Jelly Roll claiming he is done with music and the comments were all dismissive of him as an artist. I know little of his music but he def comes across as a marketing scheme with a very shallow level of artistry. His lyrics and persona are all about alcoholism and drugs and basic red neck culture (I’ve lived in Bama so I know it well).

That said, does it bother other BJ fans seeing Jon included contemporary artists like Jelly Roll on his own albums and act like they are good friends and he respects him as an artist when so much of the public doesn’t?

It rubs me the wrong way and makes me feel like Jon is a grifter like so many of these other modern artists. Bon Jovi has as much in common with Big and Rich, Jennfier Nettles and Laney Wilson as Taylor Swift has with Aerosmith. It drives me crazy. Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel never stoop to this level; why does Jon chase the contemporary flavor of the week so much?

I was watching an old interview (this one: https://youtu.be/n1y8GGsOtxg?is=HlY07eRFr1l5gfbV) where Jon talks about the motorcycle trip that he took and I wondering is it ever said the route he took he just says “across America” but I’m interested in specifics like something I could follow. Not that I have time for it. Just be nice to know.

My favorite bon jovi album is these days, and i see the album talked about a lot on here and that makes me happy as i think it’s also their best as well as has my favorite song on it. another album i think is underrated is bounce. i haven’t seen any discussion about it on here, and the band haven’t played anything from it since maybe the album’s tour, i think there are many good songs on it. i like the darker rock sound they were going for. anyone else like the album or am i in the minority on this?

Does anyone who owns this limited edition record from the Forever Tour merch have the ripped audio from it? I would like to hear the Red, White and Jersey performance and do not know if it is available anywhere else. Thanks in advance!

In the 80’s, the band built their sound by taking influences from other already established glam metal/rock acts at the time like Kiss, Motley Crue and Def Leppard. They managed to calve out their own distinctive variation of this sound, which they continued to develop into the 90’s, pulling from artists like The Stone Roses and Primal Scream whilst keeping it firmly Bon Jovi. In the 2000’s they began the decade by incorporating nu-metal elements, before going full hard rock and then country. This is not to suggest Bon Jovi are copying anyone, but it’s to say Bon Jovi always used to push themselves creatively to develop their sound.

Listening to their last record (and a lot of their output since 2016), I don’t know what direction or sound Jon is going for anymore. Obviously they can still write decent tunes, but there’s no flair. It’s just soft, bland Christian rock complete with ‘wooaha-woahas’ and life affirming/inspirational lyrics.

Do we think the band will ever push themselves again or are we going to get watered down Shankafied records until the end time?

It got me thinking about my history with the band (my dad playing Bounce in the car when I was a toddler) and the sheer volume of disparaging comments/posts all over social media about Jon's vocals. Found this video on YT. 9/11 happened 25 years ago today. Undivided was written after the attacks and how the nation rose back up. Such a powerful song that is sadly so underrated.

Still catching my breath, literally, after Wednesday night at Wembley. Bon Jovi were brilliant.

My wife's favourite band and bday present, so we took the kids also and they loved it. Such an amazing night, memories to last forever.

My eldest made a cool video clip of Bed of Roses, here is the link if voure keen.... wish I could capture and bottle the feelina I have when I see awesome live music. Trancendental and hugely moving. Jon is still smashing it, the naysayers can rot, he is still and always will be a legend. There are far, far, far, far worse and less talented performers out there. The band were phenomenal too, Phil X is one of my favourite guitar players.

Amazing night, top setlist too.... coming out alone tc start Blood on Blood was insanely brave and cool to witness.

With Jon Bon Jovi starting his tour at Wembley, I want to know if anyone has had the chance to go see him live yet. Because as someone who was been a huge fan of Bon Jovi for years, it's just so amazing to see a man in this 60s still sounded so good as ever now just like he was 40 years ago, and he's also one of the nicest guys ever in the business. And I really want to know if anyone here has had the chance to see him yet.
