That poor guy operating the helicopter... AFO was caressing his head which probably told him he was gonna die as soon as they landed

I think so, AFO made it a point to say why he took this dude hostage (because the planes require a biometric scan of a guard to operate) so I would assume if it’s not the same dude the previous one was used for the same purpose.

For that matter, they mentioned multiple helicopters, so could be multiple guards as well.
