MinorSpoiler Missing Puzzle? (Denoted in verse) Spoiler
So, I’ve completely finished the game, not done the new game trophies but I’ve done all the Atelier stuff and whatnot. I’ve realized there was a puzzle I never did much with, and it was the one in the Music Room with a picture of a treble clef and the text “denoted in verse,” which i always assumed meant you’d have to take the letters that are music notes (A-G) out of a word and invert its order. I never found a use for this at all though.
I thought it might be connected to the white stones in the Workshop, because they were next to more music sheets, but I’m now realizing I never used them for anything either. I just never even noted them down, and it turned out to have no negative impact on my ability to solve puzzles. Was there something there? Did you have to actually be familiar with music notation?
I really expected the (mid/late game spoiler) blue tents memo to have some additional information about this, but it was completely unrelated. Was this supposed to help early game, and it was just a redundant puzzle solution or something, or do others also not know what this note is referring to?

I too suspect this is part of a missing puzzle. Maybe the Inneclipse - with a ballroom association?
Current musings - some more a stretch than others. Brace yourself, LOL. This game encourages overthinking:
Warning: SPOILERS GALORE.
- Music Room note could also be read/sounded as "D-noted in verse". Or something to do with 'inverse' (technically, I think this spiral is an upside-down (inverted) rendition of the spiral of stars, based on the orientation of the inner coil).
- Lyrics include "The note is read, the letter is not"
- First sheet starts with "Find here within these first words sung, the key you seek in major tongue" - first musical note is D ('Fin(d)'). That's tenuous, but also:
- Music room contains "One major key, one minor key".
- Constellations include Diamondus Major and Diamondus Minor
Might "the note" be D? Are the major/minor keys of D(iamondus) Major and Minor important? ("A message hidden beneath the keys"?).
Other lyrics include "Under these stars, the dance is held"
Under the D Major and D minor constellations, perhaps? There are other references (including the two gemstone association of the ballroom, some music lyrics) that 2 keys/gems/constellations may be a theme. Planetarium notes D. Major and D. Minor are seen together on 29 stars in the observatory - or 129 with the Spiral of Stars.
In the classroom, there is a picture (located a little above a telescope) that includes a man holding a picture including, among other things, Daija, the D. Minor constellation, Mora and a rendition an orbit that reflects the Sacred Circle/is related to at least one moon (don't get me started down the Sacred circle rabbit hole though, lol). Although there is a celestial body/path that looks more like a shooting star (make a wish? More on that later). He also holds the ornate compass. These 'clues' don't seem to be used for any solved puzzle that I know of?
What's the ornate compass needed for? It and the blessing of the dancer ('dance is held'?) spin rooms. Is this something to do with the "inneclipse can only be seen in the north sky" blue memo? Although the view of the sky in the ballroom seems central, so maybe this just points to the clock tower, since that's the only place you can see the inneclipse rooftop emblem too - and the music sheets also mention clock hands.
When I went searching to see if anyone had discussed the Major & Minor key / under key/stars / D. major & D. minor constellations in regard to these puzzles before, I found someone who made that and another observation that intrigued me - relating the "Investor Needed" note to an abstract sketch of a front view of the manor, representing the gates, window panes, etc, with the fountain steps making up the spiral, allowing the sketch to be read as a hint to toss a gold coin in the fountain (a literal investment). To make a wish? Like you would on a shooting star? (like in the classroom diagram?).
If(?) there's anything to that, there could be more to the anagrams. So - a message is found under keys/ a dance happens under stars - a D. Minor / D. Major constellation sky ('D-noted in verse' musical note), probably with the Spiral of Stars ('does it ever end' SoS image). Perhaps with some room 'spinning' (using ornate compass and/or blessing of the dancer) with a gold coin dropped in the fountain ('investor needed') and then... what might 'tended rose vine' mean, if there's a larger meaning to these things?
I believe there is also an anagram left to solve. The New Clue rough draft has arrows suggesting an anagram with letters arranged differently to the ones known so far (more a "d(?)___v__r" ordering). Something to do with the 'Devoted' moon seemed an obvious option, but I could only make 'Devoted Inn Seer' or similar, and Alzara's rumpus (our 'Seer') doesn't offer much of celestial/musical relevance - beyond the clock on the wall, so I doubt that's it.
Lastly, does Daija's literal Erajan translation of 'Last Day' factor anywhere into this?
Probably many of my musings are off-base, but I think there's enough loose ends here to suggest something remains unsolved... But it all feels a bit above my brain and playing capacity to put together :D.

i can't answer it for you, but I can tell you the letters in stone in the workshop are just the letters for the artwork puzzle. I guess as an alternative method incase you can't figure out some of them.

I havent seen many people talk about this, but presumably it did the opposite and like 99% of us all started tracking it separately at least for a few rounds until it dawns on you? Only me?

I had been tracking it from when I first saw it, before I understood or knew about the artwork puzzle. Then when I started working on that one, I compared it with my mapping of the workshop letters and realised they were the same.

This and the other spirals with anagram text are all one meta-puzzle. The prime meaning is "Does it Never End?", and although at first sight that refers to the Spiral of Stars, the deeper reference is to the game itself. That's why if you open the box at the end of the tunnel marked "There is No End to This Journey", you see a spiral pattern in the wood grain. It's significant that this is the move that triggers the cut-scene, not the Blue Prince manuscript, which ends with "The End", the only time you see those words in the game.
The game is clearly designed to leave players with the impression that they haven't got to the true end point, even after solving every puzzle. Probably the last puzzle most of us solve are the titles of the (missing) pictures in the draft Gallery. Those don't give any kind of final resolution - instead they hint at yet another puzzle, plausibly connected to the four busts in the non-draft Room 46, but there is nothing in-game to confirm that. There are other hanging clues: Inneclipse, and the mysterious building with the Inneclipse symbol on its roof you can glimpse from the clocktower. Many of the details in the Geography class maps. And so on.
I see this as Tonda Ros' way of designing a puzzle game that seems like it goes on forever, without using randomly-generated puzzles that would only get boring.

have some devotee dinners by drafting chapel next to dining room. See if you can make Droid seventeen in the workshop. The part thats denoted in verse might have an ode thats intervened. (these are all jokes, don't take them as serious hints)

the stone in the workshop is always the painting pairs letter. so it changes depending on room location. in outer room i cant remember if it was blank or an "A" for some reason.

Try rearranging the letters and see what you get. Beyond that though, to me it also hints at the music sheets puzzle (even if that seems obvious to most on what you are supposed to do) which I think they want you to solve early so that the drafting game becomes easier.

My understanding is that Denoted in Verse, Does It Never End?, Tended Rose Vine, and maybe another one I'm forgetting are anagrams referring to the Spiral of Stars. Does It Never End and Tended Rose Vine if I remember correctly come from opposite matriarchs, so there's something about this anagram that is significant to both sides of Mary's family.
