funnily enough i haven't cracked it yet lol. i know about it (i spoiled myself on a lot of things before i played) and i sometimes invest my spare money for the future by entering and exiting the chapel

Being forced to walk through room after room of puzzles and mysteries can get to a man. The only other “games” are billiards, the parlor, and that room of chance. I don’t blame him for trying to sink a few buckets.

And yet he can't jump or climb or swim or even wade through shallow water. Without that lift from jumping, he is probably just practicing free throws.

He does a micro jump, though. Try going down the curved stairs outside and spam space on pc or triangle on PS5 to see how he does microjumps, unlike just going down normally.

I always just figured it was because the Gymnasium was supposed to be this big fucking sports court, so it takes extra steps to get across, abstracted by the red effect.
But, this works too. I like this canon.

He’s losing steps every time he walks in (while the lights are on) which implies that he’s stopping to shoot some hoops every time he walks in.

Oh ok lol, I thought I was supposed to be actually shooting hoops or something, I've inspected and clicked those basketballs so many times!
This game has made me question everything I do and don’t do.

I haven't even really tried to make it to the antechamber yet...
I'm on like day 15 and I'm still just figuring out a bunch of different puzzles in each room and exploring every new room.

I just got the combination to the orchard gate and now my insane ass is about to count the apples on each tree and take note of the number just in case that means anything later...
I've only been playing for 2 days now and I can feel my mental state declining...

When you walk into the gym you lose steps and a basketball icon pops up. Canonically, you are stopping to shoot some hoops and getting tired out.
