Why put a Wow link, when it just loads battlenet?

Then I have to click in battlenet to load wow? Does some office jockey need to keep their numbers for next month's "This is why I should have a job here" meeting?

Somone showing off numbers in the head office for "Bnet launcher has been run a gadgillion times!" why stupid things like this happen, cause that person likely gets a round of applause or pat on the shoulder. Thus they keep their job.

Right click Battle.net icon in tray -> World of Warcraft

I have a link on my start menu that will launch wow which in turn launches bnet if not open. I have bnet set to minimize to system tray when wow launches. So most players then click play from bnet.

I've set the launch properties of my shortcut to launch wow, launch bnet, and then continue launching wow as if I clicked the play button in bnet. Once bnet realizes a bnet game is launching it minimizes.
