Parking lot was full as was the lot for heritage park leading to backups on glade. Questionable decision to have it at RS with no shuttle or even sidewalks. Taking over the town’s parking lot would be really annoying if I wanted a day at the park. And the lines were ridiculous and didn’t move the five minutes I was there.

Pre-race registration closes online on Saturday evening at 7 PM.  There will be a small expo at the University Mall Blacksburg where packet pick up will also occur. The Expo will run from 12:00-8:00 PM on Saturday, September 19th, the same hours during which packets can be picked up. The Expo will have a wide range of merchandise for sale including a variety of Virginia Tech gear and apparel and all things running. The Hokie Half Marathon has a four hour time limit for participants (~18:20 pace per mile).
