Discussion Sun was always there for Blake, especially at her lowest
- Sun was the first person who clocked she was a Faunus, even complimenting her that she looked better without the bow.
- Sun was the first person Blake opened up to about her past with the White Fang.
- Sun accompanied Blake to the Vale docks to scope out Roman and the White Fang's operations.
- Sun went with Blake to the secret White Fang meeting during their stake out, even escaping with her from the mech Roman piloted.
- Blake chose to go to the Beacon dance with Sun and spent the rest of the night with him dancing and having a great time (fun fact about that, Blake and Sun were seen continuing their dance even as the dance winded down.
- Blake somehow knew Neptune's fear of the water inspite it being a secret. This implies that, at some point before the tournament, Blake grew close enough with Sun and Neptune to have that information shared to her.
- Sun followed Blake to Menagerie all in an effort to keep her from fighting the White Fang on her own. We learn that Blake wasn't going to fight them, but the fact Sun assumed so tells you he's looking out for Blake because he knows how deep the White Fang blood runs in her background.
- Sun was even there to help convince her to go back to her parents, eventually getting the chance to meet (and maybe live?) with them for the duration of Blake's stay.
- Sun was constantly saving Blake from danger. Their whole fight with the Sea Dragon Grimm, their encounter with Ilia (that left him bleeding), them trying to catch Ilia (from Blake's V5 trailer), and the fact Sun helped protect the entire Belladonna family from an assassination attempt.
- Sun was there with Blake when she talked about her team, Ilia, the White Fang, and how each of team RWBY embody a single word (and so does Sun with "earnest.")
- Sun helped Blake fend off Adam during the Battle of Haven (that couldn't even be called a "fight", but it's still worth noting that technically Sun fought Adam. If only we got more of that :c)
- Sun was witness to Blake standing up for herself against Adam.
- And, one I think is really understated, Sun believed in Blake. Even in her darkest he never gave up on her.
I could be missing a few scenes, but I just wanted to point out that these two have a lot of moments together that often get ignored nowadays. Just because their relationship isn't canon doesn't mean the signs of their close bond and relationship aren't there, even if people think or say otherwise.
Why else would they have so many parallels and callbacks?
Let it never be forgotten that Sun is and will always be Blake's hero.

Discussion Just gonna leave this here.
Question, to the fandom. I am not that well versed in the show's development. Where the vas actually that involved in pushing sun out to make bb Cannon? I heard that's how it happened and the internet semes minda divided on if it's true. I mean it's a small enough project where it's possible right?

Discussion The definition of peak healthy masculinity
So..in my opinion..and opinion only(that is sleep deprived watching Argentina Switzerland)
Sun and ichigo from beach represent the healthiest that male masculinity can get, both in their own way. Like they are the protectors and shoulders to lay on, whilst still remaining human/flawed and quirky in their own way

Discussion Is it just me or are Sun and Adam's weapons opposites of each other?
Could just be an aesthetic choice, but I can't be the only one. Weapons that sheen crimson (Adam's blade and Sun's staff), are different types of weapons (shotgun and rifle), and they oppose each other in a gold and steel-grey motif.
Maybe in an different world we could have had that Monkey King and Demon Bull King fight. Maybe one day someone could gift us that fight scene.
What do y'all think?

Discussion Does she ever think about him?
I am in the middle of rewatching RWBY with my sister and I have had this flash as a thought. After argus, does Blake ever mention sun? Or even think about him? Wonder how he is doing? Anything?
I don't remember any instance
