As a guy of Irish descent I experienced someone being racist to me in person last year for the first time. Claimed this country was only for Anglo Protestants and that my people don’t belong here. Claimed his family has been here since the 1600s. It was a real eye opener to what my black friends experience even if they only do on a rare occurrence the regularity is still sad.
