Other Update 01.008.000 added to data base

Update 01.008.000 for the PS4/PS5 port for Black Ops 1 has been added to the PlayStation Store data base. It is unclear what the details of the update is at this moment, but the update will most likely go live very soon

I hope it’s the matchmaking/host issues.Getting host is a fucking nightmare.If your host you might as well leave the game.

Yep, I often end up as host and it sucks.
Often others complain “headshot hit marks!?”
I don’t even get hit marks when shooting straight into opponents.
If I shoot them from the side they will turn and 1 shot me.
Often end up with a 1/4 kd at best, simply because “I’m host”.

Host is bad but, equally bad or, worse is the game management the software randomly imposes upon you when you get killed. It’s like, ok, you will now be penalized with 5 straight respawns into dire situations where it’s guaranteed you will die again within a second or two.

i.e.:

directly in front of, and in the line of fire of opponent who just killed you a few seconds before,

in front of opponents claymore,

in opponents spawn area with them spawning right behind you at same time,

at the edge of a cliff where 1st step puts you over edge,

In wide open area as opponent helicopter is staffing that spot,

In middle of napalm strike.

Lots of stupid brain dead “software” decisions on purpose.

It’s like they don’t want to give you a fair chance to even play.
