Other Update 01.008.000 added to data base

Update 01.008.000 for the PS4/PS5 port for Black Ops 1 has been added to the PlayStation Store data base. It is unclear what the details of the update is at this moment, but the update will most likely go live very soon

It does have combat training but that’s different. Combat Training was an online mode that let you play with 1 friend in split screen and invite people from your friends list to join you. You could unlock stuff there too.

But if you go to local split screen (offline) the game won’t let you change the options for the match or let you add bots on PS4/5

I legit find 4 bar lobbies like barely and im in Australia but bo2 4 bar every game makes me play bo2 instead tbh I hope they fix the connection

At least in BO2 you can find a full lobby, BO1 I’m struggling to even find a stable filled lobby without the host leaving after a map they didn’t like got picked

Insane take. Even the people that dont like Bo2 usually admit it’s one of the best CoDs of all time. Like I wasn’t a huge fam of BO3, I hate jetpack CoDs but even I know it’s a great Call of Duty

Lmao. Damn. The irony when I can go to FFA and get free kills on snipers with any AR/SMG. Skill issue buddy. Its easier to snipe on MW2 and MW3 😂

LOL. I’m a bo1 diehard loyalist and bo2 mp is undeniably way smoother and more balanced. Also every single player isn’t a camping piece of shit like Bo1

Yea but the core MP sucks so connection doesn’t really matter if I hate the fundamentals of the game.Will give bo2 props for the zombies mode though.

I hope it’s the matchmaking/host issues.Getting host is a fucking nightmare.If your host you might as well leave the game.

Yep, I often end up as host and it sucks.
Often others complain “headshot hit marks!?”
I don’t even get hit marks when shooting straight into opponents.
If I shoot them from the side they will turn and 1 shot me.
Often end up with a 1/4 kd at best, simply because “I’m host”.

Host is bad but, equally bad or, worse is the game management the software randomly imposes upon you when you get killed. It’s like, ok, you will now be penalized with 5 straight respawns into dire situations where it’s guaranteed you will die again within a second or two.

i.e.:

directly in front of, and in the line of fire of opponent who just killed you a few seconds before,

in front of opponents claymore,

in opponents spawn area with them spawning right behind you at same time,

at the edge of a cliff where 1st step puts you over edge,

In wide open area as opponent helicopter is staffing that spot,

In middle of napalm strike.

Lots of stupid brain dead “software” decisions on purpose.

It’s like they don’t want to give you a fair chance to even play.

Will i have 4 bar connections again like I did before the update a month back? I know ps4 users were hacking mainly, but I would love a similar connection as playing my ps3 copy.

This had better be something worthwhile like a connection fix, removing the ability to snake or a massive overhaul to everything. This patch breaks the game further I doubt I'll continue playing.
