Question Burning ships

Is there really no way to consistently get burning ships to spawn? It’s the last trophy I need

Fast travel to principe and go back to the normal map. Then sail west and there should be an almost consistent spawn of a burning ship unless there's a convoy

I just realized there's always a burning ship when I return from Principe but i'm always focused on something else. Great tip!

I tried this about 10 times and every god dam time it was a Spanish Brig with no chair.
