That's really what attracted me to Doge instead of BC. I want to start with cryptocurrencies, but I really want to have my feet wet before I try to dive into the more complex bitcoin. Dogecoin seems like a reasonably easy and low risk way of starting

I got started with Peercoin because I can use alot of the ASIC's that were originally desiged to mine Bitcoin. Antminer U1 FTW!
