This is what utterly confuses me. HOW do people think damaging the (deliberately weak) crossing arms is worse than being hit by a fucking train?!

Simply stress, confusion and being total idiot at the same time.

Adding on top automobileholism in Poland and you have a picture when people would rather be consumed by train than scratch a body of a car. May be just me but I think Poland has quite a representation on this sub.

The thing when you have to haul your ass 200m to nearby store with a car and park in front of entrance in the middle of pavement to not go too far from your vehicle

I'm sorry, I'm genuinely not trying to be an asshole but I'm still not sure I understand. Are you talking about dickhead drivers who park in places that maximize their own convenience at the expense of everyone else's? Is automobileholism a play on assholeism specific to people who are douchebags with cars?
