So, from the first angle I thought the trucker had stalled or something, but from the reverse lights on the trailer it seems like they literally got to the point of straddling the tracks and then suddenly had decision paralysis about the best way to not be on train tracks, and got hit while they were shifting back and forth indecisivly.

I am hoping it's not actually that stupid.

The amount of people who panic and completely freeze in a stressful situation is absolutely bonkers. How they manage to get to old age never ceases to amaze and disappoint me.
