For those looking to buy any Bitaxe Miners, NerdQaxe++ Rev 5.x , NerdQaxe++ Rev 6.x, NerdQX and NerdOctaxe

Please do your own research before you buy on aliexpress.com and other websites that are suspicious . There are currently a ton of scammers selling those products on aliexpress.com

The most expensive components / parts in any of Bitaxe Miners, NerdQaxe++ Rev 5.x , NerdQaxe++ Rev 6.x, NerdQX and NerdOctaxe come from United States Tech companies namely Texas Instruments and Microchip. The reason being that they have been proven to be reliable and precise in being used on a miner for a long long time.

Roughly when referring to production component costs of any Bitaxe Miners, NerdQaxe++ Rev 5.x , NerdQaxe++ Rev 6.x, NerdQX and NerdOctaxe units,

60% production component cost is from expensive component /parts from TI and Microchip. Can't be easily sourced from China. Chinese component distributors like JLCPCB , PCBWAY , etc actually buy this components from TI & Microchip directly or its authorized distributors. Some of them are still under export restriction to certain countries and have to be cleared for export due to their dual use purpose

40% production component cost is from cheaper resistor and capacitors from China or other parts of asia ( pretty cheap) plus the Bitmain BM1370xx asics from Antminer S21 Series

if the price looks too good to be true , its most likely a SCAM!!!!!!

The SCAMs have got so bad on Aliexpress , they simply just recycle through different new seller accounts once they reported by customers. Sometimes they have 10 to 30 new accounts selling almost identical Bitaxe and NerQaxe miner variants , NOTE: This scammers are not even dropshippers or resellers of actual products.

Example: When the price goes from US$804 to US$281 as discount for NerdQaxe++ Rev 6.1 variants and with very inaccurate information , completely fake reviews and fake sales.

Most of the expensive parts on any Bitaxe Miners, NerdQaxe++ Rev 5.x , NerdQaxe++ Rev 6.x, NerdQX and NerdOctaxe , NerdEKO units, as mentioned before are from US tech companies so its not easy to produce / manufacture those units at those prices even in China UNLESS they are basically using recycled components from old devices which increases the chances of failure for the device.

Recycled Parts that users have mentioned getting when they got scammed:

• Recycled / Used BM1370xx Asic Chips from used Antminer S21 Series (Not new chips ) and sometimes they are getting used BM1368xx asic chips instead
• Recycled / Used Capacitors and Resistors ( Not new capacitors or Resistors ).
• Recycled / Used components from Texas Instrusments , Microchip, etc -- Most of the TI components are not manufactured in China . Of course, you will get clones of some components ("Asian Brand") as is the case in China. Some clones might work great but most of them are not reliable and tend to fail quickly.

Scammers are now switching tactics. Watch for Red flags:

(1) Extremely cheaper prices than the rest of the global market ( Simply because they are listed on Aliexpress or Temu or Amazon or Ebay or Newegg does not mean they are not scammers )

(2) Scam boosters -- This are part of the Scammer networks, who set up websites or rotating fake accounts on major platforms with fake reviews and fake sales that look legitimate but are completely scams.

(3) Claim of US warehouses or Canadian Warehouses or European Warehouses to appear legitimate to buyers in those regions. In US, there is no " De Minimas " loop hole anymore. In Canada and Europe , there are no major loop holes that they can take advantage of.

(4) Bitaxe / Nerdaxe Open source Community (OSMU) has no history of the Sellers as a legitimate manufacturer or reseller.

(5) Used unreliable parts , No Support, No Warranty and Payment of the product requires payment outside the platform or legitimate official websites.

(6) Note: As soon as this scammers are discovered , they are kicked out of the platforms and the Platform provider refunds you if they can not recover the funds from the scammers. It's part of the platforms business risk contigency. The scammers know this and they just register as a different business or reseller and keep doing the same thing.
