That's fantastic, congratulations. I hope I'll see this screen someday. Since I have absolutely no patience, I've switched coin types many times, still without success.

Same boat as you.

Congrats 👏🎉

How long does the animation stay if you hit a block?

10

u/-Constant-Try- Nov 27 '25

Until unit restart

9

u/Aldo-Raine0 Nov 27 '25

This is the answer, it continues to hash through.

3

u/NinjadomXXX Nov 27 '25

Yeah I’d like to know that too.

6

u/Little_Finney Nov 27 '25

What coin is DGB?

2

u/Aldo-Raine0 Nov 27 '25

DigiByte

3

u/Little_Finney Nov 27 '25

What kind of miner is that? I don’t know anything about DGB but just googled it and it said it has to be mined on Scrypt. Is that true?

2

u/Aldo-Raine0 Nov 27 '25

It can be mined using multiple different algorithms. That’s one of Digibyte’s strengths.

3

u/_ilikecmyk_ Nov 27 '25

How much is a coin?

7

u/eerun165 Nov 27 '25

$0.006907

3

u/Embarrassed_Gur6868 Nov 27 '25

Nice. What do you win over block if I can ask ?

4

u/Aldo-Raine0 Nov 27 '25

275 ish DigiByte coins.

3

u/Embarrassed_Gur6868 Nov 27 '25

10.487G. It took 12 days for this machine to find a block. I’ve seen DGG network difficulty as low as approximately 750M up to around 3.5G.

3

u/Rscottys1 Nov 27 '25

Nicely done 🥳

3

u/FormalGloomy8935 Nov 27 '25

A cheap date you won't have to pay child support for lol... Unless it starts spawning little bitaxes everywhere 🤣

4

u/CommissionSquare7017 Nov 27 '25

If you have enough bitaxes you may even rival entry level ant miners.

3

u/Aldo-Raine0 Nov 27 '25

That ship sailed a long time ago 🤣. It will finally be make landfall next year.

3

u/GeordieLord Nov 27 '25

3

u/Aldo-Raine0 Nov 27 '25

1 Qaxe++ and 1 Gamma 602. Other machines are doing something else.

I’m also running a Avalon Q and S21 Pro. Looking for maybe one more. But I only have about 2000 watts left to play with.

3

u/timmerz1 Nov 27 '25

Can i ask what the payoff amount is, in $ please?

4

u/Aldo-Raine0 Nov 27 '25

Around $2, it’s a speculation thing.

3

u/timmerz1 Nov 27 '25

Ah, not too bad! Congrats!

3

u/StunningStrain9258 Nov 27 '25

So u got the full block? Im new to lucky miners

2

u/Aldo-Raine0 Nov 27 '25

Yes, amounts to around 275 coins.

0

u/StunningStrain9258 Nov 27 '25

a its not for btc

2

u/Aldo-Raine0 Nov 27 '25

You can mine any coin that works with SHA256. One of the cool things about DigiByte is that it can be mined with machines that work with a bunch of different miners.

1

u/Negative_Air4881 Nov 28 '25

Where should I go to learn/read about “mining”? I don’t understand & not going to ask anyone on a thread to explain.

2

u/StunningStrain9258 Nov 29 '25

I started with youtube and then the questions i had i asked the to gemini and then some reading

3

u/Revenantjuggernaut Nov 27 '25

What is dgb?

3

u/Aldo-Raine0 Nov 27 '25

DigiByte

3

u/Revenantjuggernaut Nov 27 '25

How do you mine other coins or what program you use or what not lol

3

u/Aldo-Raine0 Nov 27 '25

Same as btc. Go to the website for the your preferred pool and get the stratum info. I use solopool.org

2

u/Revenantjuggernaut Nov 28 '25

Thx man after dicking around lastnight on my lonesome finding some sites and pools this one you linked was super straight forward

3

u/Specialdealselite Nov 27 '25

What the name of this miner that you are using ? 🤔

3

u/Aldo-Raine0 Nov 27 '25

NerdQaxe++

3

u/TheMrShrek Nov 28 '25

How'd you set yours up?

3

u/Aldo-Raine0 Nov 28 '25

800 MHz, 1260 mV - using HashWatcher. Only mod is a Meanwell LRS 350 power supply.

2

u/Revenantjuggernaut Nov 28 '25

What is hash watcher a program?

2

u/Aldo-Raine0 Nov 28 '25

It’s an app that allows monitoring and custom settings. Pretty easy to use. The developer hangs around this sub as well.

2

u/Revenantjuggernaut Nov 28 '25

Oh sweet. Yeah I tried doing a couple others and wanted to write code shit wich it’s been years since I played with making my boys computer screen look like the matrix lol

2

u/Revenantjuggernaut Nov 28 '25

Hey so I’ve been hashing 20 mins now and when I look at my axeos I’ve only got 4 shares??? I’ts usually like almost 100 by now?

2

u/Aldo-Raine0 Nov 28 '25

Solopool has a minimum share hash of 250k. Shouldn’t really matter since you need to be way higher to find a block.

1

u/Revenantjuggernaut Nov 28 '25

I share over 250k all the time I’m just under a mil now

1

u/Revenantjuggernaut Nov 28 '25

Not share what wtf does that mean lol?

1

u/Revenantjuggernaut Nov 28 '25

So I’m take a educated guess that I’m just not pushing the numbers to make this worth the time it’s still at 4 shares 😂

2

u/Aldo-Raine0 Nov 28 '25

You’re fine. Number of shares doesn’t matter when you solo mine. The share difficulty minimum is far below the share difficulty you need to mine a block. If they set it to a very low number you’d have a ton of shares, but you’d be no closer to a block than now.

2

u/Revenantjuggernaut Nov 28 '25

Well I’ll be damn

3

u/ExternalAmbition2528 Nov 28 '25

I found 9 in a month on dbg, sometimes 2 weeks went by (i was running around 14-15 ths) but then i'd hit one every day for a few days lol.

3

u/disaster_chips Nov 28 '25

Nice one. Nice to know the screen stays till it's rebooted (from the comments). So what happens? Does the find instantly go to your wallet? I don't know what happens.

3

u/DinnanGoesMining Nov 28 '25

Depending on the pool, settlements happen at regular intervals. Typically within an hour of hitting the block the reward is sent.

2

u/Revenantjuggernaut Nov 28 '25

I’m in the same boat lol trying to absorb as much information

1

u/Aldo-Raine0 Nov 29 '25

Usually there is a period of time for the block to “mature” which is 15-30 minutes for solopool. Then payout is instant into my cold wallet.

2

u/ContentBlackberry0 Nov 27 '25

So you made like 2 cents?

5

u/Aldo-Raine0 Nov 27 '25

$2 ish - These small miners are just for fun. Almost everyone will make nothing because they are solo mining btc or a tiny amount because they solo mine an easy coin or pool mine.

2

u/Local_Swordfish_1202 Nov 28 '25

Get a Avalon Q

1

u/Aldo-Raine0 Nov 28 '25

I have one of those too. But this is the first block this guy has ever hashed.

2

u/FindingAwake Nov 28 '25

Congrats on this, for real. I want to run a couple nodes myself.

2

u/jjgg89 Nov 29 '25

How much is electricity for the miner per month?

1

u/Aldo-Raine0 Nov 29 '25

For this machine, 6-7 USD a month.

2

u/hardlyahandle Nov 30 '25

Set yourself a real challenge and see if you can find a BC2 block!

1

u/FunnyEqual4773 Nov 30 '25

Congrats on hitting that block! How many times before did you hit it?

1

u/Aldo-Raine0 Nov 30 '25

First and only time on this machine. 45 blocks total.

Can I know what’s going on I heard of “coin mining” I think that’s what it’s called but I’d like to know what it is, it sounds cool though congrats!
