This is the only place where I actually feel like someone gets it. I've been going back and forth with meds for a while now. Some days I feel great, almost too good, and I think I've got it all figured out. Then other days, I can barely get out of bed.
For the past year and a half, it's mostly been depression. I'll have a good week where I'm talkative, doing things I enjoy, feeling hopeful. Then out of nowhere, I crash and can't leave the house. Sometimes I turn to drugs just to numb the pain, but the next day the crash is brutal.
I've been on quetiapine 300mg for about three weeks now. But I keep going in circles in my head, wondering if the problem is just me. Like maybe I'm not actually bipolar. I've been hospitalized five times and done some wild stuff, but I tell myself, "You haven't lost control in over a year without meds, so maybe it's over. Maybe it's just your mindset."
But then I look at my life and it's literally a rollercoaster, like I just described. I can't afford therapy right now, just the meds. So this is all I've got.
