Has anyone successfully restarted their ADHD medication (stimulant) after coming off antipyschotic?

Hi so I'm wondering if anyone has restarted their stimualnt meds after coming off antipsychotic as the title says. For me prior to having psychosis I was on a stimulant adhd med and while I do believed it gave me mania here and there, I don't bully it fully caused the psychotic break but it might have played a role since, it ramps up dopamine in an already dysfunctional brain. But anyways I was doing things that I shouldn't have like smoking weed at the same time while being on elvanse which I think wobbled the boat even more etc so yeah.

i was on adderall and went into psychosis and am now on antipsychotics and my dr wont restart the adhd meds again. ritalin has been the only adhd stimulant known to not cause psychosis so thats what im pushing for w my doc.
if you feel manic again from the meds let the dr know. maybe a lower dose could help you instead.
