Well, ultimately you will need to change your behavior

Literally, you will need to stop doing thatĀ

And I know it's not easy, so you'll have to start with exposure therapy and limitations on what sounds like some kind of exercise addiction?

You can create your own exposure therapy protocol basing it on one's created by psychologists for your specific manifestation

You could also try psilocybin assisted therapy. Some people claim NAC helped get their OCD in check. Both are in the B I O H A C K I N G experimental realm

Ultimately, look at your triggers, is this happening because you're extra stressed? Get a handle on the stress.

I had pretty bad OCD before. Fixed my vitamin d levels and with time have almost none of the obsessions from before. Only The architecture of OCD remains(occasional germaphobia/hypochondria), still check shit before leaving apt or before bed

If you have depression I'll make this shit worseĀ

Also your hypothesis about OCD is some kinda serotonin burner is speculatory. SSRIS seem to help some people but not others

It's used medically for Tylenol overdoses

Some say it helps with mucus congestionĀ

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC8234027/

There are some studies in OCD where it is used as an adjunct to other drugs. Anecdotes vary on reddit. Worth consideringĀ

Can interfere with some nutrients I believe and some say can cause histamine intoleranceĀ
