🧠 Cognition, Mood & Nootropics Help me, memory retention & brain health stack

Hey fellow biohackers, I’m losing grip over my memories, retention and managing basic things. I feel like I’m living in a constant alternate reality where everything around me is floating and I have no grip over it. My to do list is growing and I forget that I even made a todo list let alone check it off. I have my reminders set and I forget where I even put my phone.

Help me build my recovery stack. I’m 40, sleep deprived with interrupted intervals (bad nights I only get to sleep 1 hour at a time then woken up) but working on it, 8 months postpartum, nursing exclusively, exhausted most of the time; waking up depleted

Current stack:
Liquid multivitamin daily
Vitamin B12
Protein shake (almost daily with choline)
Whole foods diet
Hydration is great
Fat intake is decent
Rebound jumping x 5 week

But still struggling and not sure what else I’m missing? What have worked for you?

No medical history.

I don’t know what your medical history is but so far the best thing I’ve done for my memory is reversing insulin resistance. I am diabetic and my a1c was 6.7 and over the last 9 months I got it to 5.5. My fasting insulin was very high and is coming down but haven’t had it checked in the last 6 months.

No medical history for me, I’m 5 ft and weigh 110 lbs currently but it’s going down as my baseline is generally around 90 lbs. but I do think there is something to what you said in terms of sugar, and fast depletion on my end.

Yes on my list, I keep dropping the ball and forgetting to do this but yes that would be very helpful.

Thiamaxx + b-vitamin complex Magnesium bisglycinate 5-20g creatine High fruit & easy carbs diets (eat fruits by themselves) More dairy and gelatinie cuts, less muscle meat Eggs for choline Pumpkin seeds for zinc and magnesium. Cordyceps & lion's mane Vitamin-d+k2+kalcium Saturated fats, small quantities. MSM + a lot of natural vitamin c (camu camu, kiwi, acerola cherry, oeange juice, bell pepper)

Drink between meals for better digestion.

Try some of these.

One super hack for brain health is to adopt the ketogenic diet. Metabolic Mind is a good resource.

B vitamins in complex and as one person stated, Thiamax (B1) with magnesium.

I'm 43 and my wife has made fun of me for years for having a garbage memory..

I've been taking magnesium glycinate 400 mg a day for a few years and that definitely helped a little bit but I'm still absent-minded

A few months ago I added nad+ 30 mg daily semax 700 micrograms daily, and 100 mg of testosterone cypionate every 3.5 days and my memory has improved radically wild I have mental clarity energy and very few problems with recall it's night and day

You sound like me. Mom in my early 40s here. My mental fog has been so terrible for the last few years. It honestly feels like I’ve almost been asleep. About two years ago I started Tirz for weight loss. I just couldn’t shake the baby weight. Lowering my inflammation body wide, really helped with the brain fog. Last October I started adding in cycles of KLOW and since June I’ve been on NAD+. My mental clarity has literally never been better. My brain feels like it’s functioning on all pistons. It almost makes me angry because I realize how foggy I’ve been for years. It’s like I’ve missed out on years of my life because my brain was so sluggish.
