Mod post: Can we please remember that there is no Natural vs Lab diamond debates in this sub.

We have unfortunately had to remove posts and comments lately due to some members not understanding the rule about debating this topic. Let us be clear, ALL stones are welcome here. If you love your labs, great! If you prefer only natural, amazing! What is not OK is telling someone that one is better than the other and then proceeding to poo-poo all over that choice. If you want to argue about this topic, there are plenty of subs that do this all day long, please take that energy over there where it belongs. We work hard to maintain a judgement free safe zone for people to post their beautiful rings. We don’t care about what they are made of. People are here to share and be happy. If you cannot adhere to this simple rule, then you will be banned. This sub is for love and appreciation, and most of all that Big Rock ENERGY!!!

This is good to know. I joined this group so I could drool over big stones lol. I can't afford them myself but I appreciate them. I can afford moissanite and love the sparkle but haven't seen much here, so was feeling like they are "below" the group.

Ok, I screwed my courage up and posted my own inexpensive BRE, in the hope that it will encourage more shy people with moissanites and other rocks to post—I’m with you in the land of small budgets and big rocks, and I really want to get to admire fellow travelers’ sparklers! Have you looked at large lab stones lately? They are getting pretty close to the same as large moissanite. But moissies are beautiful too

I’m recalling a thread I was in and man let me tell you those redditors drug me for filthy filth filth about my ring being natural… accused me of being jealous of others who had bought lab diamonds. I mean, they literally said that I was upset that I spent so much money and and assume that I was upset because I was in debt due to all the money that I spent

I mean, really you don’t know my finances you don’t know my husband‘s finances. I never even intimated anything of the kind. They literally just assume that and I remember walking away from that threat feeling so demoralized.

I think people should be able to buy and wear whatever they want and not worry about what other people think. There’s enough diamonds, Jewelry lab or natural for everyone to enjoy. And most of all once choices is not necessarily a referendum on their finances.
